Our Founders and Litigation Legacy
The firm was founded in 1989. Messrs. Donald Allen and Daniel Karp led the firm’s litigation practice for many years. Yvette M. Bryant, now a member of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, joined the firm as an essential member of the litigation team. Mr. Karpinski started with the firm in 1991 as a law clerk and became an associate in 1993 upon passing the Maryland Bar. In 2000, Mr. Karpinski became a partner with the firm. From 2002 to the present, Mr. Karpinski has served as the managing partner of the firm.
Mr. Cornbrooks was a law clerk with the firm from 2005 through 2006. After clerking on Maryland’s Supreme Court and spending several years as an associate with a reputable firm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, he returned to the firm as an associate in 2011. Mr. Cornbrooks became an equity partner in 2017.
